Two pathways, one intention
A Moments Practice offers both therapy and coaching. While each pathway has a different focus, both are grounded in self-awareness, nervous system understanding, values and meaningful change.
Therapy supports deeper emotional, psychological and nervous system work. Coaching supports clarity, confidence, direction and aligned action.
If you are unsure which pathway is right for you, the intake process will help guide the most suitable starting point.
Therapy
For deeper emotional, psychological and nervous system support.
Therapy may be helpful if you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma patterns, emotional overwhelm, burnout, neurodivergence, self-worth challenges, relationship difficulties or long-standing patterns that feel hard to shift.
Therapy creates space to understand what is happening beneath the surface. This may include exploring your history, emotional responses, protective patterns, nervous system states, beliefs, relationships, identity and current symptoms.
The aim is to support deeper awareness, emotional regulation, self-trust and meaningful change at a pace that respects your nervous system.
Therapy may support you with:
- Anxiety and overwhelm
- Depression and low motivation
- Trauma patterns and survival responses
- Nervous system regulation
- Emotional regulation
- Self-worth and identity
- Neurodivergence, ADHD and autism
- Relationship patterns
- Burnout and disconnection
- Life transitions
- Limiting beliefs and protective patterns
Coaching
For clarity, direction, motivation and aligned action.
Coaching may be helpful if you are emotionally stable but feeling stuck, unclear, unmotivated or disconnected from your values.
Coaching is more future-focused and goal-oriented than therapy. It supports you to clarify what you want, identify what is getting in the way, clear limiting beliefs, strengthen confidence and take practical steps towards a more fulfilling life.
Coaching is usually short-term and may be offered over 3 to 6 sessions, depending on your goals.
Coaching may support you with:
• Life direction
• Confidence and self-belief
• Decision-making
• Career or business direction
• Goal setting
• Creating new habits
• Values clarification
• Motivation and follow-through
• Limiting beliefs
• Personal growth
• Aligned action
• Reconnecting with purpose
